Lake Bonavista is located in Calgary’s southeast and was established in 1967.
One of the biggest draws for potential residents into this area, and a favourite spot for current residents, are the two man-made lakes, Lake Bonaventure and Lake Bonavista. These lakes offer excellent recreation and relaxation opportunities for residents. The lakes and parks are for the exclusive use of the homeowners of Lake Bonavista and their guests. Lake Bonavista itself is 52 acres and the park is 25 acres, making it one of the largest man-made lakes in Calgary. The community is also close to Southland shopping Centre as well as Deerfoot Trail.
With countless activities to do every day, and an ease of access to the rest of the city, Lake Bonavista is a wonderful community that any Calgarian would be happy to call home.
